Rest day – Trike plans for 2009

We were over at friend’s place until 4am, playing Cluedo and cards and drinking beer, eating. The 5-mile bike ride home across town at that time of night was a bit nippy, and putting the bikes away we managed to shut the cat in the garage until we got up in the morning to try and find her, ooops. I got up and made a cuppa at 10am, but it was too early and I crashed out again until lunchtime.

No training today – feeling pretty washed out. Summarised my training for the year, anyway. I’ve had a pretty good year, and hopefully next year I’ll be able to race the trike effectively. I’ve had a few ideas about what I can do, and summarised it here. Current club record, record -16.8% to give me an idea of what the equivalent solo time is, and some calculations based on how I usually fare against the current VTTA standard times (which, helpfully, have trike standards too), plus the current Oxonian CC club record for comparison.
